Philip Edge & Jonathan Edge and their staff of 16 have served East Harling and the surrounding area for over 50 years. Philip followed in his father's footsteps over 30 years ago and Jonathan joined the business back in 1997 and is now proud to be the Managing Director of a very successful and thriving business, which continues to go from strength to strength. Both Jonathan & Philip are members of "The Worshipful Company of Butchers Guild". Philip is proud to be the 2008/2009 President of the "National Federation of Meat and Food Traders"

In January 2008 Jonathan spearheaded a major investment into the business which saw F L Edge & Son Ltd become owners of 3 industrial units (approx 7500 sq feet) within the village of East Harling. The purpose of these units is three fold. A new state of the art multi species EEC approved processing plant. These fantastic units were opened in March 2008 by celebrity chef "Galton Blackiston" chef/patron of Morston Hall. These were a huge investment for the company but once again have proved a very successful addition to the continuing expansion of the business.
F L Edge & Son Ltd were runners up for the 2006 "Butcher of the year award" and Jonathan was a runner up in the 2008 Outstanding achievement award at the EDP Norfolk food and drink awards.
We specialise in pre-packing for other retail outlets and supplying the catering trade across East Anglia. They currently supply approximately 30+ retail shops and a large number of pubs, restaurants and schools as well. Some of their high profile customers include: Morrison's PLC, Center Parcs and A F Blakemore (Spar Shops)
They offer a regular delivery in and around East Anglia using their fleet of refrigerated vehicles. We are currently supply our four local Morrison's stores with our Cooked Meats, Bacon, Sausages and Burgers and we are now very proud and excited to be supplying 15 further Morrison's Stores throughout East Anglia with our Farmhouse Pork Sausages!
