In January 2008 Jonathan spearheaded a major investment into the business which saw F L Edge & Son Ltd become owners of 3 industrial units (approx 7500 sq feet) within the village of East Harling. The purpose of these units is three fold.

These fantastic units were opened in March 2008 by celebrity chef "Galton Blackiston" chef/patron of Morston Hall. These were a huge investment for the company but once again have proved a very successful addition to the continuing expansion of the business.

The new processing plant has allowed us to have better buying power hence offering you the customer better pricing. We also do a lot of work cutting & packing farmers own carcasses allowing them to market their own produce which is a diversification for them which is vital to the rural economy.
